It's free!!!

I guess most of you remember the old days during the family trips using a map to get to the right place (or asking for information to random people when you got lost!). Well, world has changed and nowadays we don’t need a huge-expensive map thanks to the GPS (Global Positional System), which is a space-based satellite system developed during the mid 60’s that provides locations to its users trough a device that you can buy at any store; the biggest problem of these gadgets is its higher prices you must pay to have them. What should we do if we are not good at navigating our way to places and we don’t have the money to buy a GPS? The 4-letter answer is WAZE!

This is how Waze looks like.
Ehud Shabtai and a group of young talents created this community-based GPS called Waze, which is an amazing app that you can download to your Smartphone just by entering to the App Store. Certainly this is not a commercial since you can download this tool at no cost! But, how is this great app for free? Wazers (Waze's users) around the world report what’s happening on the road; they even let you know where traffic jams and police officers are in order to avoid them. You can create new roads which are not visualized and win points for that. Actually, traveling long distances using this app is really entertaining (when you are co-driver, of course!) since you can inform other drivers along the highway and see what's happening miles away.

I strongly recommend you to try Waze because it's an useful tool with no charge and you, as a wazer, can help community by creating new roads and let people know the streets here in our country.

Have you ever used a GPS device? Are these gadgets really useful or just a silly way to waste your money?
