False advertising.

Have you ever wanted something so bad, like a new T.V or a new cellphone, and then when you finally have it, they come up with a new version of it? One that sounds and looks so much better than the one you have?
Then you start going crazy all over again thinking that if you had waited a little longer you would have bought the last version, which also happens to have amazing new features.

This happens in every country and to every single people in the world. It is what companies sell us and sometimes it is false advertising.

You end up with incredibly high expectations and with an empty wallet, because this "new features" are also super expensive.

One clear example is what happened, very recently, with the IPhone 5. People had huge expectations on this new cellphone but it ended up being a normal phone with some added characteristics, a new version of the already existing operating system and a bigger screen, which of course, represent a change but not the kind of change that the users were expecting.

This idea of buying new cellphones because they claim to have better camera or whatever, comes to us like in the inception movie. Overnight.

One one hand we suddenly feel like life is miserable because we don't have this new modern technology, but on the other hand and for the people who are able to afford it, it ends up being a lie.

So whenever you see a new version of something you already have, think about it and don't let yourself be fulled by the false advertising and the promise of a new world.

Has this ever happened to you?
What do you think about the new IPhone 5? Do you know anything about it?
Do you know about any other example of false advertising?

Here you can watch a video on this topic.

A funny video for you to watch :)

  1. This has been the one which maintained my attention until the very end of it.

Since you use your personal experiences as your source, yes, I can say I have seen people thinking they are into the fashion section of society just because they have access to technology and all of that. Cool...NOT! actually not, how many people have become consumist slaves of the market and being fooled by just small actualizations not worth of your money? Many if you look around...
