Vaccine = No Life

   Neither an eternal life serum nor a pill against any disease; since the discovery of penicillin and the medical jump of making up medicines to prevent diseases or illnesses, in addition with the overall technological advances (equipment, resources and knowledge) the doctors labour seem to have improved our life quality, increasing our life expectancy and giving us the chance to enjoy life for long time, but is that statement a true reflect? Or is it all the way round? Let’s see.

   First of all, how does a vaccine works? Vaccines are created in laboratories using viruses completely alive; viruses are treated and weaken to be insert trough an injection in your body. As the virus was weaken your immunological system is supposed to react more efficiently against it, and design an effectively defensive system if this virus attacks you again; that is to say, that your body should resist with no problems that virus … lie? Not completely; of course your body will have a defensive system improved to that virus, but viruses also evolve (a basic principle exposed by Darwin in his theory of evolution) From universities and biological (virology) researches to Hollywood films like Outbreak (1995) have expose how viruses evolve when they take action into vacuumed bodies in which they change they chemical and biological composition to survive, turn them more powerful, even deadly for humans.

   As we know doctors through the Hippocratic Oath, they are compromised to serve human kind helping and avoiding health problems, but how can this be true? Pharmaceutics are dealing with our health in order to gain profits, leaving us dependent on medicines to counter- strike the viruses that they set up in our body, and also Biological War used by Military. Through this I’m not complaining about doctors, I’m just stating how hypocrite money and greed have turned the mission of Hippocrates. Ironic, don’t you think?
