How would it be...?

There are situations that make me stop for a second and make me think how would my (or our) lives be without daily things that seems to have been around us since always.

This is how, several weeks ago I wanted to call a friend of mine and I had no minutes left in my cell phone. I tried to contact her by facebook, twitter and Whatsapp and nothing worked. After a few hours I was desperate and I started wondering how would my parents communicate when they were teenagers and needed or wanted to talk if they were far away from each other.

So, after that day I started to appoint my dates as soon as possible and not to left it to the last minute were something can go wrong and make me pass a bad moment.  I also learned to not depend on my cell phone or on my computer, because suddenly the internet may fail, your battery may die or your minutes may be gone and all the plans that you had in your mind might simply be in vain if you did not talked to that person in advanced. So, the next time you schedule something do not trust 100% on the technology and start wondering right now how would your life be without something as simple and as important as a cell phone.

  1. This is so true! It has happened to e so many times that I can no longer count them with my hands.

Nowadays, people tend to rely to much on technology and they don't take into consideration that this artefacts are made by human, so they can fail at times.

So I agree with you, there some other factors that we should consider, like time, for example, and other things that can go wrong. And lastly, never to forget that at some time in history.. other people didn't have this kind of luxuries.
