Sleepy people make bad food choices!

According to a recent study, there are some consequences when having just a few hours of sleeping. Please listen to our presentation in order to notice what the negative aspects you could have. Enjoy it!

  1. Girls this is a very interesting presentation and your classmates should clearly listen to it. Can you please add a catchy title and a summary of what the research is all about. Also, include a couple of questions to make sure you trigger some discussion.

  2. From what I understood, I think that there is a huge difference between what the media presented and the actual results of the research. The experiment shows that there is no relation between the type of food we eat and sleep deprivation--we eat whatever we find; whereas the media claims that sleep deprivation leads to choose unhealthy food. I believe that the media chose to emphasize that because they needed to have a consequent stance regarding the topic. Maybe in the past, they encouraged people to have good eating and sleeping habits, so putting the real results of the research would have resulted in being inconsistent with their principles. Or maybe they just want to shape people's habits.
