Is technology helping industries or workers?

Technology has been changing lots things during the last years. Nowadays, these changes have influenced in many aspects of the century, for instance, society, economy, industry, education and even politic have received these effects. But, what are the advantages and disadvantages of these changes? Let´s take the case of industry and see how it has changed and how those changes have affected us.
Industries have improved a lot their communication among their departments, employers and with their customers. Technology has also helped the industries to get in contact with others industries in the world. I would say that in terms of communication, industries have received lots of benefits thanks to technology. But the disadvantage of this, are not received by the industries but by the employees. Lots of people is losing they jobs because of technology. Lots of people is losing their jobs because a machine can do their job better and for free, then, obviously, the industry owner will prefer to have machines instead of people. This problem affects not only to the unemployed worker, but also to his/her families and then, to the whole society. I don´t like these effects that technology is bringing to the world, but it is a today´s reality that started a lot of years ago.

In sum, technology has good and bad aspects. It is very useful to make industries to produce faster and save budget. While in the other hand, it doesn´t help to the families. And don´t forget that families are the base of every society!

Now I wanted to invite you to think about this and help me to find an answer that make me feel better about this reality because when I think of the future, I feel worried about the families and the thousands of workers that will be unemployed because a machine.
Do you think that a company can work with just a few workers and lots of machines? Don´t you think that industries are a like individuals that are affecting the society? How can we avoid these disadvantages?
